1 Music Video Evaluation

To prepare my music video I dedicated many hours to my story board which was in the form of a mood-board. this was really effective because it enabled me to have structure and work efficiently. The mood board style meant there was scope for last minute creative input, the images I used were for reference and inspiration/ outline of my scenes. As a result, I worked very closely with my storyboard and followed its structure. My variations in scenes and mis-en-scene played a strong role in why my video was so successful. My slick and prompt editing complimented the song’s tempo and beat allowing my video to have a thoughtful and powerful structure. I made an effort to maximise my mis-en-scene considering the circumstance of lockdown, and my level of planning allowed me to use more than one person with lots of different equipment and costuming as I filmed over a period of time.    To begin I used intertextual references of the time period, that also paid tribute to the artist...
